The Committee of WECPark have been working hard along with our friendly team to establish the first Community Garden in Wyndham.
The garden is a place for individuals and groups to grow their own organic vegetables, herbs, fruits and flowers.
Currently, as of January 2021, we have no garden plots available.
The garden manager can be reached by phone in the contacts list.
Forms for expression of interest in joining, along with Rules and guidelines, also with a Karen Translation can be downloaded via the Documents link.
The garden is located behind Ison House, and adjoins but it is not affiliated with Mambourin Sensory Gardens and the entrance is accessible to plot holders via the cyclone gate opposite numbers 26 to 28 Walls Road.
We have a great glasshouse - kindly donated by the Anderson Family- where we grow seedlings of many sorts.
We encourage all our plotholders to use rainwater from our large water tank on their garden beds.
We would like to warmly welcome assistance that we are currently receiving from Bunnings, who have sponsored two garden beds and have assisted us with providing manure, compost materials and many seedlings.
In June 2019 we have been the grateful recipients of many garden tools, pots and sugar cane mulch from West Welcome Wagon .
We have also gratefully received a donation from the Commonwealth Bank, Werribee . This funding will go towards the purchase of timber for the garden beds and a new water pump.
